We strongly believe that the future of conservation and environmental stewardship depends on the new generation. We strive to look for and identify individuals that are innovative, proactive, passionate and with a hunger to learn and adapt to the ever-changing circumstances. We focus on quality, rather than quantity. We focus on long-term outcomes, rather than short-term outputs. We then partner with very serious organizations (like the ones below) to get these future leaders situated in the best possible places!
Talent Recruitment
We look for young diverse set of people that can potentially be future conservation leaders. We coach and help them define their own professional goals in conservation. We scout for character, personality, and that spark in their eyes that shows their hunger to learn and succeed.
Mentoring
We help students and young professionals navigate the complex recruitment systems of careers in natural resource management and conservation. We help them see options and potential career paths so they can decide by themselves where to go. We simply shine a light on to the trail ahead!

Conservation Opportunity es una organización sin fines de lucro incorporada en Puerto Rico que conecta a personas con oportunidades pagadas y de voluntariado en el campo de la conservación ambiental, mayormente en Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos. Les brinda orientación para promover su desarrollo profesional dentro de este campo en particular. La organización ayuda aliviar el hecho de que hay que ir a más de veinte diferentes recursos para recopilar esta información. Además, lleva a cabo eventos al aire libre de educación como limpiezas de playa, restablecimiento de poblaciones nativas y endémicas, trabajo en finca con practicas de agroforestería, entre otras.
